All sorts of other news

2018:   In November I passed the KUSA Utility Exams .  A devastating start to 2018 , Kendo left us very abruptly after being diagnosed with an aggressive cancer. Kasumi resorbed her babies, developed pyometra and then biliary. Early in the year Tanaka pulled through a triple bloat scare, sadly in  August we said goodbye to  Tanaka ,our tough Dutch girl.

2017 : I passed the 1st exams for the KUSA judges scheme , and in July and September did two practical assessments at shows .I was fortunate to visit  the Italian Chow Chow Show (over 200 chow chows entered) in April and spend time hands on with breeders, exhibitors .Meeting up with old friends and making new ones !  The Book on the Chow Chow within Southern Africa was published and the 1st copies ( of currently 220 copies worldwide) were delivered to chowists at the Italian Chow Chow Show  (click on the link for info)
